This class has started off on the right foot. In stressful work situations, lately I tend to have a knee-jerk reaction. This is a great start to handling all types of situations, more importantly stressful situations.

Dr. Lana Petru is President and CEO of Líder·ology Consulting Group (LCG) focusing on Leadership Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and other business transformation efforts requiring mindset and culture shifts within organizations.  She has also been part of a global consulting firm focused on Talent Transformation, Change Management, and Business Process Design.  Dr. Petru has been instrumental in the growth and implementation of learning content delivery for corporate and executive education in global organizations.  She is dedicated to serving organizations and individuals through developing career growth, upskilling and reskilling of talent, and creating the framework that supports an Inclusive Culture.

Dr. Petru began her journey working in education for over 20 years with the majority of those years focused on professional education and executive education.  Through this experience Dr. Petru has forged a successful career path in Change Management and worked with many fortune 500 companies on various transformation efforts. Dr. Petru leveraged her education experience and development of major learning programs to become a highly effective Change Management practitioner. Understanding early that any major learning program requires elements of change management, including behavioral change. Dr. Petru has developed several post-secondary education programs including Spanish language, English language, and California Teachers of English Learners programs in addition to her work in corporate education and training. Dr. Petru’s years of extensive research in leadership for her dissertation position her as an expert in most leadership theories, especially Transformational Leadership.   Her exploration of transformational leadership established the impact leadership style has on organizational success. Dr. Petru’s background in Sociology and behavioral sciences makes her uniquely positioned to develop strategy leveraging a behavioral scient approach. Dr. Petru has also conducted extensive research in “Element of the Bond” Theory, Adult Learning Theory, Multiculturalism, and Dispute Resolution Theory.
